Mykaylan's Senior Portraits

Playacar Beach, Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, Mexico

Mykaylan and her family were coming to the Riviera Maya Mexico from South Dakota. As she was headed into her final year of highschool, they thought it would be a perfect opportunity to capture her at this age and take a new twist on the tradition of Senior Portraits.

They were staying at the Gran Porto Real in Playa del Carmen, so we decided to traipse over to Playacar Fase I and shoot there with it's gorgeous beaches and old Mayan Ruins in a jungle setting as well.

What resulted was a fun session of youth and vibrancy while celebrating the local Mexican region and light.
