Carrie and Nick were so in love that they did things in their own way and on their own timeline. This Mexican Destination Wedding Ceremony was for friends and family as they had secretly wed in Michigan before coming to Mexico. They also already had beautiful Miss Ava who just couldn't help but steal the show! Carrie was a budding photographer herself and her surgeon hubby was just starting to make his name for himself. They were at the peak of lift off in life and I was so happy to be a part of documenting this day for them.

Carrie's STUNNING Hailey Paige / JLM Couture Gown was so breathtaking, I couldn't imagine her in anything else. We started the day with some saucy Boudoir shots in her Bridal Suite and then proceeded to shower her girlfriends with all the love. Nick and his dudes enjoyed some downtime prior to the ceremony and then all of the sudden it was go time.

Grand Velas Riviera Maya is one of my FAVORITE locations here. It's luxurious without being pretentious, it's spacious and private and yet offers so many luxuries! Seriously, take a day and at least get the Day Pass to visit their World Class Spa. It has like 20 different rooms from Ice baths, Mud baths and a Steam room and a massage and followed with a lazy relaxing bubble pool - it does not disappoint!

For weddings, Grand Velas Riviera Maya Destination Weddings are a dream to photograph. The location has so many beautiful little nooks and crannies of space all over the property that it's a photographers dream for gorgeous backdrops. With a couple as gorgeous as these two, accompanied by a bunch of humans down to party - the whole day was a dream come true - for them and me! Ava of course couldn't help but want to be a part of her parents first kiss, roses were handed to the moms as a way to say thank you for bringing this spectacular human into the world and my life, all accompanied by the sweet whisperings of a succulent violin played by the always wonderful Tenoch Herrera.

We had the most gorgeous sunset and Carrie's Catherdral Veil flew-oooooh!!! The moments were just spectacular! The party, well let's just call it one for the books. Between a beach all to themselves, multiple drinks in the brides hands at once, a ridiculous amount of dancing, there was also a Cigar Roller. How cool is that?

Forever, Carrie and Nick's wedding will be one of those that I am so humbled to be a part of capturing for her beautiful girls to reminisce upon years from now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to your girlfriend who sent you the image of mine on Pinterest, thank you two for asking me to be a part of your party and capture these moments.
